Please join the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern US, Inc. and the French American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast  to Tour the Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Oak Ridge National Laboratory is DOE’s largest multiprogram science and energy laboratory, with scientific and technical capabilities spanning the continuum from basic to applied research. These resources enable the lab to tackle an exceptionally wide range of R&D assignments, from fundamental nuclear physics to applied R&D on advanced energy systems.

ORNL's mission is to deliver scientific discoveries and technical breakthroughs that will accelerate the development and deployment of solutions in clean energy and global security, and in doing so create economic opportunity for the nation.

  • Tour the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility (MDF)
  • Tour the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS)
  • Tour the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) and EVEREST Visualization Laboratory
  • Working Lunch: Partnerships and Working with ORNL 
  • Tour the Carbon Fiber Technology Facility (CFTF) 
  • Tour the New Hope Center at the Y-12 National Security Complex
